At the Races
How to play
A meeting is a card of six races. Everyone starts with the same stack of credits, backs the horses they fancy before each race, and whoever has the most credits after the last race wins.

Scoring and winning
- Win bet: pays at the odds if your horse finishes first.
- Each way: two bets in one, a win bet and a place bet at the same stake. Places pay a fraction of the odds.
- Winner: the biggest credits balance after the final race.
- Coins: earned from achievements, saved to your profile and spent in the avatar shop.
Tips for first-timers
- Odds of 4/1 mean you win 4 credits for every 1 you stake.
- Bets lock when the gates open, so decide before the countdown ends.
- The favourite wins most often. The outsider wins the story.
Tips for hosts
- Read the odds out loud before betting closes. It gets the room talking.
- Call the card after three races for a shorter slot.
- Show the leaderboard between races to keep the chasing pack interested.
Credits only. No real money goes anywhere near it.
